I need a detailed process of using LID's in SewerGEMS for detention cells and swales

Hi,

Could I get a detailed process of using LID's in a storm water management in particular with detention cells and swales.

The video on this is very short and not able to apply it for our use.

It would be very helpful, if you can provide me  a complete document or videos related to the above.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Rekha MP

  • Hello Rekha,

I don't believe there is a wiki specific to how to set up each type of LID. However, there are some additional resources you can check that may help. The SWMM manual has some information on LID as well, but it appears to be similar to the information in the wiki. There may be some information in the training material as well. This link to the SewerGEMS New User's page includes links to training on the LearnServer and on our YouTube channel.

You may also want to review the Help documentation. The section called "Low Impact Development Controls Manager" has information on what the various properties for different types of LID. This would aid in the type of input expected for a swale, for example.
