I keep getting an error message when trying to perform an optimized Darwin Calibrator run, "Calibrator Calculation Failed. Please see user notifications for possible causes" - in user notifications I have the message "An error occurred when trying to calculate or validate the model, please check the model for errors". However, when I validate and run the model, no errors show up in user notifications.... I've calibrated several models with no issues like this, and am really stumped on how to resolve this since the model itself appears to be functioning perfectly with no user notifications. Any help or similar experiences would be very much appreciated!
Nick
Hi Nick,
What version of WaterGEMS are you using? Check under File > Help > About. The latest version is currently 10.03.05.05.
Please see the following related article in our Wiki for tips and fixing the problem you're encountering: Darwin Calibrator error "An error occurred when trying to calculate or validate the model..."
If this does not help, please provide a copy of the model for review along with steps to reproduce: Sharing Hydraulic Model Files on the OpenFlows Forum

Thanks for sending the model. In the latest version we get red user notifications when trying to compute Calibrator:
"Customer Meters associated with pipes are not currently supported with Darwin Calibrator or Designer."
This is the reason for the failure - currently you would need to associate the customer meters with junctions in order to use Calibrator in this situation.
This is mentioned in the article previously provided.
