Hello! I am trying to import demands to customer meters in WaterGEMS. Within the billing data I want to use for demand allocation, some of the meters have multiple demand values with different usage rate codes. For example, in the image below, 1000026837_14WOOD DUCK may have one demand value for Residential usage and one demand value for Irrigation usage. I would like to import demands and match them to their respective meter IDs without losing the data on the meters with multiple demand values. Is there a way to do this as part of an automated tool or process, or is the only way to do this manually?
Thank you in advance!
Olivia
Thank you Scott! Would you suggest using the LoadBuilder and ModelBuilder tools in conjunction to import the data, or is there another way that is better if there are multiple demand values?
Thank you!
Hello Olivia,
The customer meter elements are designed to represent a single customer demand. There is not a way to add a second demand to a single customer meter. You would need to either include another customer meter for the other demand or apply the two demands to a junction, which does allow for multiple demands on a single node.
Regards,
Scott
