Is it possible to create a scenario with less nodes then the base scenario:
(See following image). Let’s say I want to create a scenario (Scenario J-1 gone) where P-1 and P-2 are are a single pipe so in other words remove J-1. Is that possible or can you not eliminate elements in scenarios?
I concur with Rob - the way you describe is how you would accomplish what you are looking for.
Elements cannot be deleted in a specific alternative only and cannot have their from/to connectivity changed. Rather, you would utilize Active Topology to turn elements on and off to accomplish what you need. (a single pipe active in one scenario while the string of two pipes are active in the other).

Is it possible to delete an element from one scenario, but retain it in another?

Hi Christen,
That is correct.
Rob.
p.s.
One tip - if you want to create a new pipe that has the same properties as an existing pipe. You can right-click on the existing pipe and create a prototype. Then create the new pipe. (Once you are done, delete that prototype).
I think I figured it out I drew a extra connection between T-1 and J-2 without J-1 in it. And in each scenario a deactivate the unwanted pipe and junction setup. As far as i know that's the only way to do that.
Or another way of asking the question would be if there is a way to create an alternative for removing J-1 and making one pipe out P1 and P-2.
And I do not just want to make J-1 inactive in "Scenaro J-1gone" because I still need the Tank to supply water to the network in "Scenaro J-1gone" .
