Tank and pump in StormCAD

Ref: https://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/f/haestad-hydraulics-and-hydrology-forum/236141/stormcad/733753#733753

I am designing some open channels, they converge in to a tank in which a PUMP will be placed later. I only have StormCad for designing it and I would like to know what steps shall I follow to configure a tank with this program. The design of the pressure pump and pipe I´m not doing it.

  • Since this is a new question I have split this to a new thread.

If you do not need to size the tank and pump (which can be done in SewerGEMS), then in StormCAD you could model the tank as an outfall node element. In the outfall properties, select user defined tailwater and enter the tank water surface elevation. See: Modeling a User Defined Tailwater
