I am using Watergems for the design of a water distribution system. The software shows that it is using Hazen Williams equation for the design, according to the Hazen Williams equation the pressure is inversely proportional to the pipe diameter. But the pressure increases when I increase the pipe diameter. Kindly help me figure out this confusion.
thanks alot.
Actually the pressure LOSS is inversely proportional to the pipe diameter, if the pressure loss decreases between point A and B, the pressure at point B increases (if the pressure at point A remains static and the flow direction is from point A to point B).
