I've received an error message when trying to open an older model (from 2012).
Lauren Schuld,
Please see if there is indeed already a file named <modelname>.wtg.sqlite in the folder. Make sure you have File Explorer set to see file name extensions.
If there is, first, try renaming that file to another extension (<modelname>.wtg.sqlite-old) and try opening the model.
If that doesn't work, set the file back to its original name and try changing the filter in the Open dialog to look for the sqlite database file and try to open the model using that database file rather than the .wtg file.
Please let me know your findings.
Thank-you,Larry
Lauren,
Also check to see if there is a .mdb file with the same name as the model file <modelname>.mdb. If you find one, then I'll need to help you migrate the model file to the latest version.
Please let me know what you find.
Thanks,Larry
Larry -
There was not an existing .wtg.sqlite file in the folder but I was able to get things to work by switching the filter to database files and opening a .wtg that way. Thanks for your help!
