Hi all
sewerGems < how could I design a network by specific depth of outfall
ie . for example i need to build new sewer network but the depth of outfall is 95 cm < when i design it using sewegems it make outfall depth 125 cm but outfall depth must be 95 cm only
I try to make outfall not desgin option be program make last pipe adverse slope ???!!!!!
thank you
Hello,
If you want to start with an assumed invert or cover on either the downstream or upstream side of the network, this can be done using local constraints. If you want to design "from downstream", set "design structure elevation" to false for the downstream outfall. If you want to design "from upstream", set "design structure elevation" to false for the upstream most manhole. Please go through Does the design tool in SewerCAD or StormCAD design my network from upstream to downstream or vice versa? wiki article for more details.
There are some cases where you may want to "set" the invert or size of an element such as the invert of the final outfall. In this case, you can tell the program to not design the size or invert of specific elements. For more details please go through Constraint based design only on certain elements wiki article.
If this does not help, kindly reply, We are happy to help you.
