Bentley HAMMER: When using "Pump Shut-off after time delay" option Pump head is beyond shut-off head due to increased pump speed

Hi,

I have a transient hydraulic model developed in Bentley Hammer Connect 4 version 10.04.00.106.

The scenario consists of closing the valve downstream a running pump after 190s and then turning off the pump at 220s.

I noticed that when using "Pump Shut-off after time delay" option, pump speed increases beyond its constant speed (1780 RPM) up to 2593 RPM when the valve fully closes and remains steady until shut off as per the below image.

Because of this, the downstream pressure is also higher than what the pump could actually deliver considering its shut-off head.

Please advise regarding this issue as it doesn't seem logical?

I checked the behavior of the pump when the transient operation is flipped to "constant speed - pump definition" and it seems more logical, but in this case the pump stays on after the downstream valve is closed and I cannot obtain the pump speed curve with this option to investigate further .
