I have followed every single step listed in this link: Troubleshooting ArcGIS Pro Integration
I have noticed that the mentioned file was never generated or never existed in the first place in my installation folder. Thus, when I open ArcGIS Pro, I don't see the supposed ribbon, but the program opens with the WaterGEMS thumbnail. Can anyone share the mentioned file with me?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Hello Mustafa,
Can you please confirm both the WaterGEMS and ArcGIS versions you are using?
It may happen that the versions you are using are not compatible with each other.
Please check the Platform Compatibility article to check the version compatibility between WaterGEMS and ArcGIS.
If versions are compatible then we need to check if the integration was successful or not.

Thanks for your rapid response, it appears that WG23 does not support ArcGIS Pro 3.0. Solved by upgrading to 3.1.
Thanks Mustafa, after discussing with development we can confirm that WaterGEMS 2023 indeed only supports ArcGIS Pro 3.1 and higher. (not 3.0 or 2.X) I have made some adjustments to the related Wiki articles to clarify this:
I have also adjusted the troubleshooting article to mention the new, correct path to find the WaterGISPro.proConfigX file (it is different for ArcGIS Pro 3.1+) for situations where troubleshooting needs to be performed.
