Error Message: "Number out of range. Looking for value that is less than lowest table value. Looking for 57.688 ft. Lowest table value 58.000 ft."
I can't find the setting which is making this model look for elevation 57.688. There is a composite outlet structure with a user-defined headwater range of 58 to 63. The tailwater is a constant elevation between 53 and 63, depending on the chosen scenario. There is a culvert which is part of the outlet structure which has an US elev of 57.9 and a DS elev of 54. Each rating table of the composite outlet structure goes from HW 58 to HW 63.
What settings should be investigated to find out why pondpack is looking for an elevation of 57.688 ft?
Hello,
I assume you're using PondPack V8i.
For this message, you should check the Headwater and Tailwater range for all outlet structures (not just the one identified in the message) - ensure that they match the upstream and downstream ponds. Be sure to look at the top and bottom elevation (from the elevation-area curve for example) of each pond. Also, check each individual outlet within each composite outlet structure and make sure they fall within range of the headwater/tailwater.
Lastly, if using the stored EQTW option, ensure that the headwater and tailwater ranges match the adjacent ponds. If you make a change to the outlet structure when using this option, be sure the option to store the table is still selected, that you re-compute the outlet structure from the Composite Outlet Structure manager and that the outlet link element is referring to the correct stored EQTW.
If this does not work, and for future technical questions like this, please zip and send your model to technical support. This is the correct channel and most efficient way to solve your technical problems.
