manual designer run

Hi everyone

In the 'design study' and in it's 'cost/properties' tab, I defined two 'new pipe' 1 and 2: In 'new pipe1' there are 2 pipes defined (with 100 & 150mm as diameters)

In 'new piupe2' there are 2 pipes defined (with 32 & 40mm as diameters)

Then I selected 'manual design run', highlighted it and went to 'design group' tab to complete 'cost/properties' and 'manual selection' tabs. I set 'new pipe1' for first 'design pipe group' and set 'new pipe2' for second 'design pipe group'.

After that I went to 'manual selection' tab to perform it. Now this is my problem: When I click on the box under 'manual selection', ONLY the pipes which has been defined in 'new pipe1' appear. And the pipes which has been defined in 'new pipe2' do not appear. Why this occurs? Why JUST pipes of 'new pipe1' can be selected? The sample file is attached.(version: v8i)

Thank you.

Mohsen

I encourage you to utilize our forum for future questions. I think you will find that it is quite active with many 'eyes' on the subjects that are raised. It is a good opportunity to have open discussions with people from Bentley as well as other users. The knowledge and information shared can then be found by other users who might have the same question in the future.

I would also recommend taking advantage of the knowledge we're accumulating in our wiki. Below is a link to a directory of technotes and FAQs for lengthy subjects on our Hydraulics and Hydrology products. You can also use the search bar to find wiki articles on shorter subjects, issues and questions.

If you are looking for learning resources, make note of the "Learning Resource Guides for new users" section near the top of the Technotes and FAQs page.
