I have a problem with my StormCAD project with using of drop structures. When i run my design with some nodes "Allow drop structure" is set to true, profile is not taken into account this option .Why like that ? please help me?
check below profile Manhole A1/43
Manhole A1/43 Properties
Base design table
Please make sure that you have checked in the option of Design structure elevation as you have selected automated design option , it seems to be unchecked in the screenshot.
If you could create a service request for the issue & submit your model also we can see the exact problem. To create a service request please go this location: appsnet.bentley.com/.../addcall.aspx
and fill out the required information & also mention that you have posted on forums as well.

yes. it is worked for me. I thought "Design structure elevation" is for capturing manhole top elevation from dtm terrian, so i didn't checked that option. Based on your reply it seems to be it is for designing drop structure elevation.isn't it?
Hi Prasad,
The "Design structure elevation?" option gives the automated design calculations the freedom to adjust the manhole invert if needed, to meet your design constraints.
Populating the Ground elevation of nodes based on a contour/DTM is done through the Terrain Extractor (Trex) tool.
It's difficult to determine why the drop structure wasn't used in your case, but there are a few things I'd like to mention. First, checking the option to allow drop structure doesn't necessarily mean that it will always create one, rather that it will have the freedom to do so if it needs to in order to meet constraints. For example if the network is set up in such a way that a drop structure could be used to prevent the Maximum Slope constraint from failing, it may do so. So, it could be that the slope of that pipe was still within the maximum slope constraint.
If you need to send us the model and would like to continue collaborating over the forum (encouraged), there are a few other options.
