  • I would urge caution in servicing such blanket requests for modeling data. Most WaterGEMS models are closely held for security reasons. And many participants on this forums are anonymous and actively seek to remain so. (We are also aware of active software piracy of WaterGEMS emanating from several regions around the world including Iran).

And, this caution extends to private message based communications outside of this forum as well.

This is why we encourage provision of model for Bentley support purposes via the secure shares protocol. You can be assured that the security of your data is a principle concern of Bentley Technical Support Group and they take positive measures to protect your data.

However, if anyone has a robust academic model that they would like to share with the industry that exercises all elements of WaterGEMS as well as a progressive range of functionality,  then I would like to see such a thing as well. Please contact me off-line to discuss. You would reserve full attribution, and our user-base would be most grateful, I'm sure.

  • Hello Simbaa,

WaterGEMS comes with a number of sample models that should be useful, covering  a number of use cases. These files are in the WaterGEMS installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\WaterGEMS\Samples

Please refer to this forum post as well, which covers the same general question: communities.bentley.com/.../93473.aspx
