Hello.
I have a problem . I have a topography map in autocad like this pic :
when I use it as .DFX as background the number not showing .
NOW MY question is :
How can I use topography in watergems ? I whant it for trickle irrigation systems design.
S.O.S,
What version of WaterGEMS are you using? The version number can be found by going to HELP > About WaterGEMS inside your program and locating the number in the lower left hand corner. The number may be in brackets. It should start like this 08.11.XX.XX where X are some numbers. Have you tried to save the .DXF file to an earlier format like 2007, 2004,2000, or R12? That would be something to try. You might also want to try exploding the dxf drawing using the EXPLODE command then save the file to see if that helps.

We have found that MText have difficulty being visible when you add them as a background however single line text does show up. I am guessing those "numbers" are MText.
As Mark suggested, if you eXplode the MText (Multi Line Text) they become single line text. Save that dxf where you exploded your MText and then load that dxf as a background.
I also found a wiki that we have created, which also confirms these ideas:

thanks .
My version is : [08.11.01.32]
I explode map and save it as .dfx 2010
and it's solved.
so thanks
