Darwin calibrator producing incorrect results
pandiaan
We recently found out that Darwin calibrator was producing incorrect results (defect number 168350). We are still waiting on an official patch release. Anybody else on the same boat?

Re: Calibration Help!
Jack Cook
Elisa, This may or may not be germane to your project, but it's a possibility for consideration, especially if you have high confidence in the accuracy of your demand data. The average non-revenue water component in the US is 11%. Some utilities…

Re: Darwin Calibrator
Martin Pflanz, P.E.
Didi, can you help out with some clarification on your question, are you working out a workshop and trying to get the results that are part of the workshop? or Calibrating using Darwin Calibrator for an actual system? If you are Calibrating for a real…

Re: FINAL DESIGN
Jesse Dringoli
Hello Sachin, After you've computed your Designer run and determined that one of the Solutions is acceptable, click that solution and click the "export" button at that top of the Designer window. This will let you export the new pipe sizes, etc…

Re: Darwin Designer
Jesse Dringoli
I felt I would share the solution to this issue. The error occured because even with all design pipes set to the maximum diameter, the simulated pressures were far below the pressure constraints. The reason for this was an entry in the Boundary…

Darwin Calibrator Inactive Elements
tschrage
I'm fairly new to the software and have been going through the on demand courses. I have a decent understanding of how Darwin Calibrator works but I'm struggling with one thing. I have numerous inactive pipes in my model. Typically these are either…

Re: WaterObjects.NET: How to run Darwin Scheduler with WaterObjects.Net SDK?
Wayne Hartell
Ah yes, I should have mentioned that the Run method, in the case of the Darwin modules, expects a ModelingElementCollection of optimized runs, as opposed to a ModelingElementCollection of scenarios as do most other engines. So to run a specific optimized…

Unusual Flow Results
tschrage
I'm getting some unusual results and am unable to find a solution. I'm trying to better calibrate our model near an area where 2 pressure zones meet. I've performed a fire flow analysis and tried to confirm the pressures and flow in that area. A flow…

Re: Darwin designer tool
Jesse Dringoli
Sreepathy, Effective use of Darwin Designer takes some engineering judgement and planning. Darwin will simply try combinations of pipe diameters in your design groups and attempt to find an arrangement that gives the lowest cost (if you choose…
