How can you highlight mulitple items at a time to add them to a selection set?Problem ID#: 79813
There are ways of highlighting multiple elements at a time. Forinstance, you can drag a box around a series of elements to highlightthem on the drawing pane. When you right-click with multiple elementshighlighted you can add the whole group to a selection set. There are also some general selection tools in the Edit pulldown."Select by Polygon" allows you to draw a shape around the elements, which is helpful for elements that are close together. "Select byAttribute" allows you to create a query based on some attribute orresult. For instance, if you want a select set for all junctions above acertain demand, you can create a query with this applied. Only thoseelements will be highlighted on the screen (a similar query can be donefrom the Flextables, where you can add items to a Selection Set aswell). If any elements you want in the Selection Set still is not included withthese methods, you can press the Control key on your keyboard and thenleft-click on the element on the screen. The other elements shouldremain highlighted too. Of course, you could also add elements to anexisting selection set at a later time as well.
