Why do I get the following user notification?"The period between path histories has been increased by a factor of Xto limit the number of path records to Y."Product: HAMMER V8iVersion: V8iArea: Output/Results Presentation, Problem ID#: 45112,GENERALINFORMATION
The reason you get this message is because HAMMER has a limitation onthe amount of output data it can store for transient results. If thelimit is exceeded, it automatically increased the report period, whichreduces the amount of output data generated. If you increase your calculation timestep or change "Report Times" to"periodically" (in the transient calculation options) and enter a highenough value, the message will no longer appear. You can also choose "only if on path" for "report point history type",which may reduce the amount of output information needed to be stored.
