Error or Warning Message

When trying to run a calibration study in Darwin Calibrator, the following error message is generated:

"Tank level or hydraulic grade must fall within operating range"

How to Avoid

First, double-check what the Operating Range Type for the tank is set to in your main model. The options are Elevation or Level. Whichever one this is set to, make sure that the data in the field data snapshot also uses the same type. For instance, if the tank in the model is set to use Elevation, make sure the field data uses "Hydraulic Grade." If you are using Level in the model and in Darwin Calibrator, make sure that the level you enter is relative to the base of the tank and not the actual elevation relative to the ground.

You should also make sure that you are using the latest version of WaterGEMS. You can access this by following the instructions in this link.
