Is it possible to Install WaterGEMS or WaterCAD version 7.0 on Windows 7 or higher?

Solution

It is not directly possible to Install WaterGEMS, WaterCAD or HAMMER version 7.0 on Windows 7 or greater. These Operating Systems were created much later than WaterCAD 7.0 and are not supported.

Consider the following potential solutions:

1) Upgrade to a newer version

2) Install "XP Mode" and install version 7.0 there.

3) Use a Windows XP virtual machine.

Note that the use of Windows XP and earlier poses a security risk, as Microsoft no longer supports or provides updates to it.
