Problem Description

When opening MicroStation-integrated product application after logging into ProjectWise, the product menu is not available. When opening MicroStation-integrated product application without logging into ProjectWise, the product menu is present.

Steps to Resolve

The example below is based on StormCAD, but the general steps would work for other products too.

Try building a ProjectWise Managed Workspace configuration block at the application level for StormCAD. For MicroStation CONNECT Edition, write the data from the StormCAD.cfg files (or the CFG file for the product you are using) into the configuration block. For MicroStation V8i, write the data from the msstm.ucf and msstm.cfg files (or the .UCF and .CFG files for the product you are using) into the configuration block. Then assign the workspace to the StormCAD project folder. When you launch StormCAD for MicroStation while logging into ProjectWise, the menu item should be present.
