"Syntax error or premature end of file on line 12345. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded when exporting a model to DXF"

Problem

After exporting a model to DXF, the following error occurs when tryingto open that DXF in AutoCAD:

"Syntax error or premature end of file on line 12345. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded."

Solution

This will occur if an annotation in your model has the line break character, which looks like a little box symbol. To resolve this issue, either remove the line break from the actual data that you are trying to annotate, or fix the freeform annotation that includes the line break, by deleting it from your element symbology manager, then recreating it. The line break symbol can appear in the freeform annotation if you edited an existing annotation that was not already set to freeform.

This could also happen if there are labels in the model which are unusual like shown below.
