Problem Description
When using the AASHTO structure loss method at a node, the node's bend angle result field is not being calculated in and does not appear to be used in the structure headloss calculations.
Steps to Resolve
1) Ensure that the "Bend Angle vs. Bend Loss" curve is defined correctly in the calculation options.
2) Check that the AASHTO structure loss method is selected in the node properties
3) Check that there is a positive flow through the node.
4) Check the adjacent conduit's "Has user defined bend angle" field. If this is set to true, the bend angle is manually entered and the node uses it. This may be needed if the network is a schematic and the pipes have user defined lengths. If the network is to scale and the pipe lengths are scaled, set "Has user defined bend angle" to "false" and the angle will be calculated automatically.
Note: Manholes can only be set to use the AASHTO headloss method when using the GVF-Convex or GVF-Rational solvers.
