The bend angle is not used in the AASHTO headloss method
The cause of the issue is likely related to using a schematic model. The bend angle is calculated automatically when using a scaled model and used in the headloss calculations for the AASHTO method. If you have a schematic model, you will need to enter the bend angle manually. It will then be used in the headloss calculations.
To add the bend angle manually, open the properties of the conduit and chance "Has user defined bend angle?" to True. You can then enter a bend angle. You can also make these changes in the FlexTables. If "Has user defined bend angle?" and "Bend angle (User defined)" are not included in the Flextable, you can add through by clicking the Edit button.
