Problem

When importing a SewerGEMS model into SewerCAD, why do I see several control sets in the logical controls manager? My SewerGEMS model has no control sets defined under Components > SWMM Extensions > Control sets.
Problem Number 34926

Solution

It is important to understand that control sets are not controls. They are just used to organize controls between different scenarios. Basically, you use the operational alternative to select which set of controls you want to use in a particular scenario (similar to WaterCAD and WaterGEMS.)

The actual controls would be located in the control tab of the logical controls manager. If your SewerGEMS model had pump controls (which should be the case for any model with pumps) then you'll see those controls there (these are really the only kind of controls in a SewerGEMS model). Since you can have different pump controls in different scenarios in SewerGEMS (using physical alternatives) a new control set must be made for each scenario when importing into SewerCAD, so that the scenarios maintain their pump control configurations.

The SWMM extension control sets are something completely different and are rarely used in SewerGEMS (they apply to the SWMM calculation engine only). Those types of controls/control sets cannot be converted to SewerCAD, since they don't conform to the SewerCAD control syntax.
