I need to find how long it takes a pipe to drain in CivilStorm. How do I do that?

Solution

Set up a pond with an initial elevation set to the elevation you need. Setup the pond with an area elevation curve depicting atleast two values. Ensure that the top of the pond is above the pipe crown. Then you connect the pond to a pond outlet structure and connect that to a conduit. Here keep the slope of the pipe flat. Keeping a positive downward gradient will result in increase of flow through time rather than draining. Finally, end your conduit with an free outfall. Run your EPS scenario and look at either a graph or the data table view for the pipe to see how long it takes to drain. See the setup below;
