Problem

Is there a way to change the width of the border for the catchment?

Solution

Option 1

There is no direct way of doing this, but it can be done by adding a color coding feature. Under the Catchment section of Element Symbology, create a new color coding for some attribute, such as "Area". Under the Color Maps section, change the Options to "Size". When you initialize, change the multipliers all to the same number greater than 1 (which is the default). Then choose "Apply" and "Okay". The border on the catchment should now be wider.

Note: The border color will remain the same color as the shaded part of the catchment.

Option 2

Another option would be to use AutoCAD tools to make the adjustments. There is likely information in the Autodesk online knowledgebase. On possible workflow is as follows:

Open the model in the AutoCAD-integrated platform, such as StormCAD for AutoCAD. If you are not already working in the AutoCAD platform, this link has information on importing model data into AutoCAD: How to open an existing project in the AutoCAD platform.

1. Create a new layer 'Catchments'. (Any non-duplicate layer name would suffice)
2. Select All your catchments. Change catchment to New layer 'Catchments'. (In effect changing all these elements to the 'Catchments' layer)
3. While all the catchments are still selected go to edit and then 'copy with base point'. Add base points 0,0 and press enter.
4. Turn off newly created layer, which will turn off the viewable catchments.
5. Go to edit and choose 'paste to original coordinates' and insert values 0,0.
6. Explode catchments. You should see the outlines of the Catchments. Make these thick lines or a color that prints thick
7. Turn on the 'Catchments' layer and you should see the original catchments appear. Make sure the filled in catchments are using a color that is grey, to enable to outline of         the catchment to appear when printing to a plotter.
