A number of different file types are created as the model is saved andcomputed. In order to open and compute a model in the standaloneversions of the products, two files are needed. These are the starterfile (see below for the file extension) and the database file (.xxx.mdb,where "xxx" is the same as the starter file). Backup files are createdas well. These will often have file extensions ending in the letter "k,"such as .mdk or .bak. In addition, output files are created. Standardoutput files have a file extension of .out. Report files will be .rpc.If you are running your program integrated with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, orMicrostation, other files types are necessary as well. For AutoCAD, youwill have .dwg file with the same name as your model starter file. ForArcGIS, you have a geodatabase (.mdb). For Microstation, you will have adrawing file (.dgn).For the standalone additions of the products, the following are the twofiles needed to run and compute a given model:WaterCAD/WaterGEMS: .wtg & .wtg.mdbSewerCAD: .swc & .swc.mdbSewerGEMS: .swg & .swg.mdbCivilStorm: .csd & .csd.mdbStormCAD: .stc & .stc.mdbPondpack V8i: .ppc & .ppc.mdb (note for Pondpack V10, only the.ppw file is needed)
