What does "conduit has adverse slope" mean in StormCAD V8i?Product: StormCAD V8iVersion: 08.11.02.35Area: Modeling, Problem ID#: 47940, ERRORMESSAGE
Conduit has adverse slope means that the Invert (Start Node) is lowerthan the Invert (Stop Node) for the pipe. Sometimes this is caused bydrawing the pipe in the upstream direction, so the "start" node (thefirst one drawn) is actually at a lower elevation than the "stop" node(the second one drawn). Other times, it is caused by enteringelevations incorrectly for the Inverts of the conduit or the structuresat the endpoints. You can fix this by going to each affected conduitand examining it to see whether it has been drawn backwards or whetherthe node elevations are incorrect. If the elevations are correct, thenthe problem is just that the pipe is reversed. You can correct it byright-clicking the pipe and picking Reverse from the context menu, orfrom inside the Properties grid of the pipe by clicking the NodeReversal field (near the top of the grid) and then clicking the ellipsisbutton.
