&lt;h1&gt;Solution&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;p&gt;HAMMER uses the same file format as WaterGEMS and WaterCAD, so you can directly open the files as long as the models were saved in a version equal to or older than the version of HAMMER that you&amp;#39;re using. The version number can be checked under Help &amp;gt; About (in V8) or File &amp;gt; Help &amp;gt; About (CONNECT Edition).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Additionally, WaterCAD and WaterGEMS include HAMMER elements and properties, so you can add and configure them in yourmodel while working in WaterCAD or WaterGEMS. That way you can simply open the model in HAMMER and be able to compute a transient simulation right away.&lt;/p&gt;
