The following error message is generated when computing or validating a model, or when trying to export a model to an i-model:
System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.However, the same model will compute on a different computer.

First, make sure that you are using the most up-to-date version of the software. You can download the latest version of the products using the steps in this link.
Otherwise, this issue has been known to occur because of regional settings on the computer. Check the regional settings and compare it with another computer wherethe product is working. Most of the time, there is a field that is not defined correctly in the Control Panel under Region. If you are an international user, you can also test this by setting the Region setting to English (United States), or by manually changing some of the items, like the decimal setting.
