Problem

What is the difference between an efficiency curve and a wire-to-water efficiency curve?

Problem ID#: 52822

Solution

The wire-to-water efficiency curve is the overall efficiency curve for the pump whereas, the efficiency curve is a simplified efficiency curve that does not take into account the wire-to-water interaction with the
pump. The differences in the two curves are usually very slight.
