Problem

When computing a model, an error message is generated that says that there are no pre-defined FlexTables in the model.

Solution

The pre-defined FlexTables are shipped with the installation. If these are missing, it may be an indication of an issue with the installation itself. Browse to the Flextables manager and expand the item "Tables -Pre-defined" to confirm that there are not tables listed. If not, the program was likely not installed completely.

The first thing to try is to reinstall the program with full administrative rights. You may need to do a clean reinstallation, the steps for which can be found in this link.

If that does not work and if there is another workstation with the program installed, go to the other workstation and browse to C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Bentley\(program name)\8. For CONNECT Edition releases, this last folder will be called "10". Find the file "PrefinedFlextables.xml" and copy this to the file location above on the computer with the issue. This will hopefully resolve the issue.
