When performing a standard task the following error message is generated.
"Value does not fall within the expected range."
Here are some examples of tasks that have led to this message:
This issue has been known to occur if annotations in the Element Symbology reference selection sets that have been deleted. If this occurs in a model, edit the annotation to either include all elements or a current selection set.
If that doesn't help, try the following steps:
1. Compact Database
a. Close the model files but leave the program open.
b. Go to Tools > Database Utilities > Compact Database and select the database file.
c. Choose the selection to purge the database to save space.
d. Try opening the model.
2. Move .wtg and .sqlite files to a new folder
Note: At times, one of the supporting files can cause an issue when opening a model.
a. Copy the water model files (.wtg, and .sqlite) or sewer model files (.stsw, and .sqlite).
b. Paste them into a new folder on a local drive.
3. Import the database file into a new drawing
b. Go to File > Import > WaterGEMS/WaterCAD database.
c. Select the database file associated with the model.
4. Restore a backup of the model
