Problem
How do I input a graduated tailwater?
Problem ID#: 58017
Solution
Pondpack allows for a user to enter in a Elevation-Flow curve in the properties of the Outlet Structure. The steps to do this will vary
depending on the version of Pondpack that you have. If you have the latest version, go to Components > Composite Outlet
Structures. Find the composite outlet structure in the list and look for Tailwater Type in the bottom left of the dialog. By default, this is set
to Free Outfall. You can change this to Elevation Flow Curve or Elevation Flow Area Curve, allowing you to enter the flow at given
elevations.
If you have Pondpack V10, double-click the outfall element. By default, this is set to Standard Outfall Node. Change this to "Elevation-Flow
Table (ICPM)". Click the ellipse button beside the dropdown to add an elevation-flow table. Once you have done this, choose that table from
the pulldown. Next, double-click on the Outlet Structure link. Change the Link Type to ICPM Route. Be sure to click the checkbox beside the
item "Use EQT Table".
