What is the difference between the "Depth vs Flow" pump defintion and the "Depth Flow (Simulated Variable Speed)" pump definition?Problem ID#: 70353
The only difference is the depth vs. flow is meant to be used to simulate an inline pump where the flow increases incrementally (a step-wise function) whereas, the depth flow (VSP simulated) type is used to model a variable speed inline pump where the flow varies continuously (a smooth curve).
If you are trying to simulate a Variable Speed Pump (VSP) it is recommended that you use the depth flow( VSP simulated) type.
