Problem

In Loadbuilder, when I input a shapefile for the service area layer, the dropdown menu "Node ID Field" only displays some of the fields from the shapefile and does not display the field that contains the node IDs. Why?

Solution

The Node ID field that you have might be of the type "Text", whereas Loadbuilder is expecting this field to be a numeric type field. What you'll need to do is create a Node ID field in your shapefile that is of type "Double, Long Integer, Short Integer, etc..." in order for it to show up for you
