How are headlosses determined for TCV's with the different initial status settings?
A TCV with an initial setting of 'Active' means the valve is not fully open derives it's headloss from the initial setting and the the physical minor loss coefficient is ignored.
When the initial setting is set to 'Inactive' the valve is fully open and the headloss is determined by the physical minor loss coefficient while the initial setting is ignored.
In terms of headloss calculations, the initial settings headloss coefficient is the same as the physical minor loss coefficient setting.
