What does the following user notification mean:

"Implicit (SewerGEMS Dynamic Wave) engine does not support Daily or Monthly patterns. 1 is used for pattern Daily and Monthly multipliers."

Solution

When using pattern loading for the Implicit solver in SewerGEMS and CivilStorm, daily and monthly patterns are not valid. The program will automatically assume that the daily and monthly pattern multipliers are set to 1.

While this is done automatically by SewerGEMS and CivilStorm, you may want to manually change the pattern multipliers in the Patterns dialog. The reason for this is because if you decide to use the Explicit SWMM solver at a later point or export the model to EPASWMM format, during the SWMM export process, the daily and monthly patterns are taken into account. If a daily or monthly pattern is set to zero and the day or month in the calculation options is set to one of those with a zero multiplier, the pattern data will not be exported to SWMM.
