Problem

Catchment areas not coming in properly from InRoads model import.

Solution

This issue will occur when importing a model that doesn't have polygon areas in it. If there are no polygon areas that contain the rainfall runoff data, when the InRoads file in imported, the catchment will be assigned to the default X:Y coordinate, which is a 0:0 coordinate. When this occurs, it will make it appear that part of the model is much farther away.

This will be resolved in a future release of CivilStorm. In the meantime, manually move the catchments to the proper location. You can go to Edit > Select by Element > Catchment to highlight all catchments in the model. Once they are highlighted, you can drag the catchments to the rest of the model. You can then move individual elements closer to the outflow node associated with that catchment. Note that even if you do not move the catchments, all data will be associated with it and the model should still compute without issue.
