Problem

When attempting to import DEM data with TREX the following error appears.

"HRESULT E_FAIL HAS BEEN RETURNED FROM A CALL TO A COM COMPONENT"

First, make sure you are running compatible software versions as listed in the following article.

There was a known issue with this in WaterGEMS version 10.00.00.49 which can be resolved by applying the latest patch set.
