Problem
When trying to install WaterGEMS or WaterCAD, an error box is generated that says Setup Failed, with an error code that includes "Incorrect Function."
Solution
This issue can occur in an older version of WaterGEMS or WaterCAD is already installed. The installation process should detect and uninstall older versions of the program. If the uninstall fails, this error message can be generated.
The solution for this is to open the Control Panel and uninstall the older version of the program first. Once that is completed, you should be able to install the new version.
