Is it possible to configure WaterGEMS to automatically compute every X minutes and export the results? This may be needed for example to publish results to Power BI, Amulet (Operational Analytics) or other web-based analytics.
As of May, 2018, a tool is available for early adopters, which can be used in conjunction with the live auto compute option in SCADAConnect. Please contact us if you are interested in evaluating it.
Note that this tool is limited to a subset of element types and attributes and is intended for the use case of a SCADA Dashboard, where you need to look at key elements in the model such as tanks and pumps. If you are looking to automatically export specific results at a specific interval, you may want to program and tool using WaterObjects.NET.
*Update February 2019*
Due to the general level of interest in near real-time data publishing and integration, and the number of customers who are becoming interested in topics such as this, Bentley has authored a document that discusses the tool mentioned above (and other related tools) in a reasonable amount of detail. The document discusses what the tool can and cannot do, off-the-shelf, but it's primary intent is to focus on how end users can leverage the framework it provides, plus WaterObjects.NET to build custom publishing tools. If you are interested in this topic then please take a look at the document.
