Problem
In Skelebrator, how can I protect elements which are part of control sets from skeletonization process, so that Skelebrator does not remove them and break the controls?
Background
Elements which are part of controls sets like pipes or junctions, should be retained from the skelebrator process. This technote explains how to protect such elements in skelebration process.
Solution
To protect the controlled elements from skelebrator process, follow the below mentioned steps.
- Go to Network Navigator > Input > Controlled elements (this will select the controlled elements)
- Right click in the drawing > Create Selection Set (give it a name)
- In Skelebrator, use the Select button in the Protected Elements tab, then select the selection set to add these elements as protected elements.
