Problem
After computing a model, the following user notification is generated:
"One or more patterns has a time step that does not coincide with the calculation hydraulic time step. Local pattern minima and maxima may not be preserved. Please run a full validation to see which patterns are affected."
Solution
This message will occur if the time increment in a pattern used in the model is smaller than the Hydraulic Time Step in the model. For instance, suppose you have a pattern with an increment that includes values every fifteen minutes. If your Hydraulic Time Step is set to 1 hour, you will see this user notification.
If this message occurs, then local minimum or maximum values (peaks or valleys) in the pattern that occur between the hydraulic time step may not be accounted for. To resolve this, set the Hydraulic Time Step to a value equal to or less than the increment in the pattern.
