Xbox game bar appears when using HAMMER

Product(s): HAMMER
Version(s): CONNECT Edition
Area: Other

After applying a Windows update to a Windows 10 operating system, HAMMER begins displaying green message boxes like the below, as if the software is being consider a game.

"Take a screenshot"
"Broadcast your game"
"Record your game"
"Quickly adjust your audio"

This is due to the Hammer.exe file (part of the HAMMER installation folder) being mistakenly recognized as a game, thus generating these notifications. As of October, 2019, we plan to address this in the 10.03.XX.XX release by renaming the executable file to hamr.exe. In the meantime, you can disable the pop up messages using these steps:

1) Press the Windows key + G.
2) If an informational notification appears in the middle of your screen, click "got it" to dismiss.
3) Click the gear icon in the top bar to open the Settings
4) In the General section, uncheck the option for "Show tips when I start a game"
5) Close the Settings dialog and press the Windows key to dismiss the Xbox game bar
