Investigate past, real-time and expected future performance for each asset using an embedded hydraulic model that is continuously updated with boundary conditions from sensors. The user is no longer limited by the number and location of sensors, being able to readily monitor several parameters at every point in the system.
Through the right side menu, the user can control the elements that are shown on the map, such as:
Through the right side menu, the user can select the type of map: Aerial, Hybrid, Street or None.
Integrated view of the system, where hydraulic model elements are displayed together with the network sensors. When clicking in any model element on the map (any pipe, node, pump, tank, reservoir, PRV or TCV) the user will have access, in a graph view, to historical results, real time results and forecasts for the variables available, based on the hydraulic model calculations. The historical and forecast period duration is defined at the administration level, in the Numerical Models configuration page. The hydraulic model (WaterGEMS model) can be uploaded in the administration tab (Numerical Models configuration page) and will automatically run at a given frequency, that is also user defined. SCADA or other telemetry data will be used to set the initial conditions for the model calculations.

When clicking in any sensor on the map, the user will have access, in a graph view, to historical results, real time results and forecasts for the variables available. The user can see in the same graph real sensor data, that is re-sampled, (represented by black, red or orange circles) together with the pattern confidence bands, that correspond to the expected behavior (represented by grey bands). These bands are computed based on sensors historical raw data, using advanced data analytics (statistical analysis together with machine learning algorithms). The sensor graphs are the same available on the Network Monitoring tab. For more details, please go to the Sensor Details page.

The user can easily check if sensors data is being successfully used as initial conditions for the model runs. Click in the hydraulic model element which initial conditions were previously configured (the hydraulic model element must have a sensor signal associated) and analyze the graph. The green line corresponds to the sensor value from the SCADA (or other telemetry system) while the blue line corresponds to the calculated result from the model. If everything was correctly configured in the original WaterGEMS uploaded model, the initial instant/timestep value of the model run (when the blue line starts) should match the value from the green line. In case there is a gap between the initial timestep of the model run and the sensor data, please check the configurations of your WaterGEMS model.
