Is it possible to report flow results on the 2D grid or along a given path?

Solution

As of version 10.04.00.158 (CONNECT Edition Update 4), you can report velocity results on the 2D grid or using the Report Point element. Flow results would require information on the cross section along a path (line). Flow cannot be reported at a Report Point because a certain distance (for example a line across the 2D grid) is necessary in order to determine the cross sectional wetted area for a flow calculation.

The ability to report a flow time series based on a cross sectional line on the 2D grid is currently being considered for a future release of SewerGEMS and CivilStorm. (see Idea Portal here)

In the meantime if you have a need to report flow along a path such as a roadway gutter, consider using a traditional 1D model with gutter link elements.
