When opening SewerGEMS or CivilStorm, a message is generated that says: OpenFlows SELECT Entitlements Not Available.

This release of SewerGEMS / CivilStorm supports the following feature(s) that are only available to users with an "OpenFlows SELECT Entitlements" license, or within a 7-day trial period...."

Solution

This message appears when SewerGEMS or CivilStorm cannot confirm that your organization has a subscription, which is a requirement in order to use the 2D modeling feature. As explained here, the "OpenFlows SELECT Entitlements" will only be available for subscribers. The 2D modeling feature is not available for users without SELECT.

So, first ensure that your organization has a Bentley subscription (SELECT, Virtuoso, ELS, E365) by contacting your Administrator if needed. 

If you believe you should have an active subscription and that the account (which you sign into the CONNECTION Client with) is properly linked to your organization, this issue could be related to the default access settings for the user's login. If the local administrator for the account has restricted access to the OpenFlows SELECT Entitlement option, you will see this message and be unable to access the 2D Modeling feature in SewerGEMS or CivilStorm.

The solution is to make sure you can access OpenFlows SELECT Entitlements. If you have difficulty accessing OpenFlows SELECT Entitlements, and your Bentley License Tool shows Denied, please contact your Account Administrator to review your access settings. If access is confirmed as available for your login, please contact Technical Support.
