Problem Description

Why is my flow appearing as N/A in my model?

Reason

First, make sure that the Pipe is Active and Open by looking at the Properties of the Pipe in question. If the Pipe is Active and Open, make sure it is connected to the system of Junctions with Demands.

If you are still getting N/A as a Flow result in your Pipe, make sure the Pipe is part of the Output Selection Set. You can check this by going to Analysis > Calculation Options menu. Here click on the applicable Calculation Options and look under the Properties of these Calculation Options. Here you will see a General section where you will find Output Selection Set. Make sure the Selection Set selected here is correct.

You can always set the Output Selection Set to 'All' to show all calculated values.

The purpose of the Output Selection Set is to save space when running a very large model. Only certain elements will be saved in the Output Selection Set rather than saving all elements. However, this effect is negligible unless using a very large model.
